The Tamil film industry is gearing up for some thrilling news, as several highly anticipated movies featuring actors like Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, and Jr NTR are in production. These stars will be working with skilled directors such as Buchi Babu Sana, Atlee, and Prashanth Neel for the first time.
Three renowned stars are causing a stir with recent news about their forthcoming productions, and fans can’t get enough, constantly checking their social media accounts for fresh information. This heightened interest is particularly noticeable since many of these movies have already begun filming.
Initially, we find Ram Charan’s sports-themed movie titled Peddi, which is directed by Buchi Babu Sana. After the relatively poor reception of his previous film Game Changer, there’s a lot of anticipation surrounding this production to revive Ram Charan’s successful run at the box office. The producers have already set the release date for March 27, 2026.
Afterward, we have the big project that Allu Arjun is working on jointly with director Atlee, known as AA22xA6 at present. Following the phenomenal popularity of Pushpa 2, the actor has gone through a total makeover to match his character in this eagerly awaited movie.
According to the sneak peek provided by the production team, director Atlee plans to showcase Allu Arjun in an entirely new persona, delving into the world of futuristic characters and superheroes. Lastly, we’re looking forward to Jr NTR’s action-packed blockbuster by Prashanth Neel, tentatively titled “Dragon”. Rumors point towards this as the final title, but it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. This high-budget action film has already started production. As for the release date, it is expected to hit theaters on January 9, 2026, coinciding with Pongal festival celebrations.
