Yet, when questioned about the absence of a fresh Mario game on the new platform, Doug Bowser playfully kept his cards close to his chest with an evasive response.
It’s thrilling to learn that Mario Bros. might not be idle for an extended period following the release of Nintendo Switch 2 in June 2025. While we already have a good selection of games featuring Mario, the only new game he’ll appear in for the Switch 2 this year is Mario Kart World. Additionally, a 3D platformer called Donkey Kong Bananza is on its way.
