Wrapping up another action-packed gaming week, I’ve been on a mission to discover some fresh tunes. Here’s my roundup of the coolest tracks from this week’s Best New Music Drops!
As a music enthusiast, I’m thrilled to be on the receiving end of some fresh tunes! Westside Gunn and Wiz Khalifa are dropping new albums, while independent artists like Yeat, JID, and Lana Del Rey are gracing us with their solo singles. Not to mention an array of exciting collaborations!
On “The Louvre,” Statik Selektah, Rome Streetz, Joey Bada$$, Stove God Cooks, and Westside Gunn collaborated with Ovrkast. Meanwhile, Samara Cyn linked up with someone for “Small Talk.” Kilo Kish and Miguel paired off for “negotiate,” while MIKE and Tony Seltzer worked together on “Prezzy.” Awich and Ferg joined forces in the “Butcher Shop.” Dom Dolla and Kid Cudi combined for “Forever,” Leon Thomas and Halle united for “Rather Be Alone,” Tommy Richman and Sexyy Red teamed up for a remix of “ACTIN UP,” and Pusha T, Jadakiss, and Swizz Beatz came together on “Danger Danger.
Westside Gunn – Heels Have Eyes
On Valentine’s Day, Westside Gunn revealed 12 tracks. Later, he released his second extended project for the year, 2025. Titled “Heels Have Eyes”, this new collection features five fresh solo tracks. Furthermore, Westside Gunn is also featured on Statik Selektah’s “The Louvre” among other releases during this week.

Yeat – “The Bell”
After performing the song “The Bell” at Coachella, surrounded by a massive golden bell, Yeat has now released the track officially. This is his first solo single for 2025, following up on previous releases like “5BRAZY” with Quavo and “Work” with Anyma.

JID – “WRK”
For his initial single since “The Forever Story,“, JiD has unveiled “WRK.” The rapper gave additional details about the track on Instagram, suggesting that this upbeat composition marks the beginning of a new phase in his career which he considers as “the first move into a world I can manage myself.

15 years after his groundbreaking mixtape “Kush & Orange Juice,” Wiz Khalifa releases its sequel as his eighth studio album, a direct successor to the 2010 hit.
