Wink Martindale and Sandy Ferra’s relationship history

Back in 1975, three years following my divorce from Madelyn Leech, I, Wink Martindale, found myself tying the knot with the remarkable Sandy Ferra. Our paths crossed for the first time at the Gene Autry Hotel in Palm Springs way back in 1970. That day has gone down as one of the most memorable and significant days of my life, a sentiment I expressed in a Facebook post.

Martindale and Ferra enjoyed a long marriage that spanned more than four decades. They appeared to be deeply in love, with the actor occasionally expressing affectionate tributes for his wife on social media. On their 41st wedding anniversary, Martindale took to Facebook to pen a heartfelt message. The television host enthusiastically declared, “Today is incredibly significant for me. In fact, every August 2nd holds great significance for me! Today marks our 41st wedding anniversary at Arcadale Presbyterian Church, presided over by Reverend Jack Longley.

Reflecting back on the enchanting day of their wedding, Martindale mentioned, “The following day after our wedding, we continued the celebration at the Pasadena Hilton Hotel. Subsequently, we embarked on a Caribbean cruise… during which we made friends who have remained dear to us ever since.

Additionally, Martindale disclosed that the couple had managed to honor their pledge by celebrating the 2nd of every month as a special day, dating back to August 2nd, 1975. He went on to say, “Remarkably, our promise was to acknowledge each other on this date in some manner, even just a ‘Happy Anniversary.’ To our delight, we’ve faithfully upheld that commitment throughout the decades.
