Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse Gets Update from Hailee Steinfeld

Hailee Steinfeld has given an update on Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.

Hailee Steinfeld provides the voice for Gwen Stacy across Sony’s Spider-Man universe, starting with the 2018 release, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. This was followed by a sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in 2023, and work is currently underway on a third film.

What is the new Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse update?

In conversation with Josh Horowitz from MTV, Steinfeld disclosed that she’s started voice recording for the movie “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.

“We’re well into that thing,” she said.

Steinfeld emphasized, “Here’s the point: you need to have faith in the process. From my experience, this is crucial. Hand over control, and you’ll wind up with something extraordinary. Just let it unfold naturally.

As I eagerly await the final chapter of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, it’s clear that this movie will wrap up the epic saga started in Across the Spider-Verse. In the last film, my buddy Miles Morales ended up stranded in another dimension. But don’t worry, Gwen is on a mission! She’s gathered an incredible team — that’s me (Peter B. Parker), Mayday Parker, Spider-Man India, Spider-Punk, Spider-Byte, Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker, and even Spider-Ham — to jump into action and bring Miles back home!

In “Beyond the Spider-Verse”, the roles of director are taken by Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson, while the screenplay was written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham. The production is overseen by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller along with Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Jinko Gotoh.

Besides Steinfeld, the voice talents from the past Spider-Verse films also include Shameik Moore portraying Miles Morales, Brian Tyree Henry as Jeff Morales, Lauren Vélez as Rio Morales, Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker, Jason Schwartzman voicing The Spot, Issa Rae as Jess Drew, Karan Soni bringing Spider-Man India to life, Daniel Kaluuya as Spider-Punk, Oscar Isaac portraying Spider-Man 2099, and many others.

In U.S. cinemas on June 4, 2027, Sony Pictures Releasing will present Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
