Hennessey Unleashes 2,031 HP Venom F5 Evolution Hypercar

Hennessey Special Vehicles (HSV) has officially concluded testing on its record-breaking vehicle: the updated Venom F5. With a staggering output of 2,031 horsepower, it now holds the distinction as the world’s most potent internal combustion road car.

Working hand-in-hand with Ilmor Engineering, the Venom F5 Evolution sports a refined iteration of Hennessey’s 6.6L twin-turbo V8 engine, famously known as “Fury.” Enhancements such as improved turbochargers, billet pistons, and titanium elements enable this high-performance vehicle to accelerate from zero to 200 mph in a mere 10.3 seconds, using environmentally friendly Shell E85 fuel throughout the process.

Apart from the boost in speed and horsepower, Hennessey has also incorporated an adaptive suspension system for a smoother ride and more agile handling, adjustable across five different driving modes. Aerodynamic modifications encompass a revamped front spoiler, underbody flow deflectors, and a freshly designed Gurney lip, all carefully crafted with advice from Formula 1 aerodynamics expert Dr. Mark Handford.

Apart from the standard features, customers have the option to enhance their experience with Touring upgrades, such as leather-covered carbon seats and a carbon fiber cupholder, designed for enhanced comfort during long drives. The Evolution package priced at $285,000 USD is accessible for both new and existing Venom F5 Coupe, Roadster, and Revolution models. Only 99 units of this model will be produced worldwide, with prices ranging from $2,100,000 to over $3,000,000 USD for the F5, based on the specific variant chosen.
