The contest on “The Masked Singer” Season 13 is becoming more intense, and in the episode that aired on April 16th, the “Lucky 6” performed to secure a place in the quarterfinals. Following an evening of acts, one celebrity was revealed – was it Coral or Paparazzo who was eliminated?
Was Paparazzo the one who went home in The Masked Singer on April 16?
Yes, Paparazzo went home from The Masked Singer during the latest episode on April 16.
Among the elite group of six, referred to as “The Lucky Six”, Paparazzo performed alongside Coral, Boogie Woogie, Mad Scientist Monster, Nessy, and Pearl. Each put on a remarkable show, making it challenging for both the judges and spectators to decide. Although he gave an energetic interpretation of TLC’s “Unpretty”, unfortunately, the judges chose Paparazzo as the contestant who would not advance to the quarterfinals and instead leave the competition.
Additionally, the evening held numerous unexpected events, such as a surprise visit from Boy Meets World actress Danielle Fishel, who inadvertently revealed a significant detail about Paparazzo’s true identity.
Who is Paparazzo on The Masked Singer Season 13?
Paparazzo was revealed to be Matthew Lawrence on The Masked Singer Season 13.
Prior to his reveal, the enigmatic figure known as Paparazzo left everyone guessing with his charming yet cryptic demeanor on The Masked Singer Season 13. Names like Ben Savage, Jason Ritter, and Frankie Muniz were tossed around by the judges, but it was Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg who correctly identified him. In truth, the man behind the Paparazzo mask was Matthew Lawrence, a popular ’90s actor recognized for his roles in Boy Meets World, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Brotherly Love.
Matthew Lawrence, who had his brother Joey Lawrence perform as The Walrus in The Masked Singer Season 8 earlier, clarified that he didn’t join the competition to best his brother. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he explained his decision to participate by saying, “I don’t let fear control my life; I say yes more often than no. So, I thought, why not? I’m not getting any younger, and these opportunities may not come around again. Perhaps this is the right moment to take a leap of faith and give it a try. That’s what I did.
The show’s quarter-final episode is scheduled for April 23, 2025.
