Later on, the police decided to announce through X about the arrest. Their statement read, “A man was taken into custody for posting inappropriate comments against the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and his son on various social media platforms.

According to an article in The Times of India, the incident was brought to attention on April 9 when local resident Merikanapalli Sambasiva Rao from Prattipadu village filed a complaint. Upon discovering questionable content, he immediately informed the relevant authorities.
The posts were initially shared from an account called AA Ne naa loakm. One of these posts contained a picture of Pawan Kalyan and his son, along with inappropriate remarks. Authorities have filed a complaint using several sections of the Indian Legal Code and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act.
Investigators employed cyber forensic technology to pinpoint the suspect as Puttapasham Raghu, who is additionally recognized as Pushparaj. He holds a position as a mobile technician and is originally from Guduru village in Kurnool district. During questioning, he confessed to being an admirer of actor Allu Arjun.
It was reported that Allu Arjun’s feelings were significantly affected by criticism leveled against him for backing a YSRCP candidate in the 2024 elections. This apparent anger led him to attack members of the Mega family and followers of the Jana Sena Party. To disseminate his messages, he employed multiple fictitious Twitter accounts associated with various Gmail addresses.

In response, Guntur SP Satish Kumar emphasized the importance of responsible social media conduct and warned about potential severe legal repercussions for misuse.
