However, Ezra reveals that the selected location is actually owned by Sonny Corinthos, casting doubt on Laura’s impartiality due to her connections with him.

In a surprising turn of events, I found myself at odds with Laura when Jordan, the ex-police commissioner, abruptly stepped down, aligning herself against my stance. Upon learning this, Diane suggests dismissing him in surprise, but Sonny perceives a chance instead. He assigns Jason to monitor Marco closely, suspecting Sidwell may have placed him as a secret agent.

At the moment, Diane advises Sonny that the city’s decision about taking his docks might be catastrophic. She encourages him to come forward openly and challenge this move, but Sonny is reluctant because he understands it could lead to more attention and potential exposure.
