Previously, Adidas Originals and Brain Dead collaborated on a unique version of the iconic Adidas Stan Smith sneaker. Following their successful partnership in footwear design, Brain Dead is joining forces with Adidas again for a comprehensive Spring/Summer 2025 collection that creatively revamps the Adidas Forest Hills shoe design.
By keeping tennis tradition as their foundation, Brain Dead and adidas aim to break away from the usual visual and tactile norms linked to tennis and country club tennis scenes.
The star attraction in the latest delivery is a refreshed version of the Forest Hills shoe – a design that first emerged in 1976, renowned for being the lightest tennis shoe back then, tipping the scales at only 8.7 ounces. It also boasts an innovative ventilation system, inspired by the principles of aerospace engineering.
The two-tone product showcases a hairy suede upper, stripes made of leather, and distinct branding details. Regarding the clothing line, it mirrors this design, encompassing graphic-heavy track jackets, crewnecks, and t-shirts. Additionally, polo shirts, shorts, and track pants are also included within the collection.
Examine thoroughly the Adidas Originals x Brain Dead Spring-Summer 2025 collection, as showcased in the lookbook above. The collection will be available for purchase at both Brain Dead’s and Adidas’ online stores, as well as some physical Adidas outlets, starting from April 25.
