Following many years of anticipation and fanatic reminiscing, Disney is reviving the popular music series, but this time it will exclusively stream online.

As reported by Boardwalk Times, it appears that the movie is currently in its initial stages of production, and there’s already one name making waves: Eydie Faye has been tapped to pen the screenplay for the film.

Previously, she’s been involved with shows like “Fuller House” and “The Slumber Party,” which are known for their focus on family values and were produced by Disney.

There’s no official plot summary or cast announcement at this point.

To be honest, I’ve been keeping an eye on rumors swirling around, and it seems like there’s a possibility that the next chapter in the Camp Rock saga could unfold approximately 15 years after the climax of Camp Rock 2. Fingers crossed!

A Comeback For The Original Stars?

It remains undecided if Demi Lovato, the Jonas Brothers, or any original cast members will make a comeback.

In 2023, Demi Lovato shared her enthusiasm for a revamped version of Camp Rock, during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. Meanwhile, Nick Jonas voiced his readiness for a follow-up as early as 2017, expressing that he would be on board if the idea seemed fitting.

Fans are already convinced that the Jonas Brothers will return.
