Talia Spencer claims Blake Lively ‘took advantage’ of Justin Baldoni

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve been following the latest updates in the world of movies. I’m talking about Storyboard Artist Talia Spencer, who played a crucial role in bringing “It Ends With Us” to life. She recently shared some intriguing insights with 60 Minutes Australia. Here’s what she revealed: Justin Baldoni, our director and co-star, felt that Blake Lively was attempting to seize control and assert her influence over the project, allegedly trying to take advantage of and usurp power from him. Quite fascinating!

Spencer suggested that perhaps Blake perceived kindness as a sign of vulnerability, attempting to exploit it and seize control. Additionally, she expressed her belief that there was a significant deviation from Justin’s initial concept for the movie.

In December 2024, Blake Lively initiated a lawsuit against Baldoni for alleged sexual harassment, stating “severe emotional distress” as the reason. However, in January 2025, Baldoni retaliated by filing a countersuit against Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and others, charging them with civil extortion and defamation. His lawsuit asserted that Lively had been overstepping her bounds in the production process in an aggressive manner, exceeding what was outlined in her contractual rights.

As per Baldoni’s lawsuit, Lively insisted on having control over her costumes, rewrote lines for herself and others, and made threats to exert her influence. The suit stated that this behavior was frequently captured on camera. Furthermore, he alleged that Lively sought involvement in the editing process, despite her contract not stipulating such permission. She allegedly threatened to stop promoting the film unless the studio adopted her version of events.

Adam Mondschein, who portrayed Dr. Dunbar, has disagreed with Emily Lively’s assertions about appearing “almost naked” in a birthing scene. Instead, he mentioned that Lively never expressed any discomfort during filming. He highlighted that Lively was dressed in a hospital gown, black shorts, and a torso prosthetic for the scene.

Without reaching an agreement outside of court, both sides found it necessary for the trial to be set on March 9, 2026, by the court.
