Sudeep Kichcha shared an eagerly anticipated update on his upcoming film, Billa Ranga Baashaa, which has faced a significant postponement due to unforeseen circumstances. This recent announcement is generating excitement among fans, who are impatiently awaiting more details about the release date of this action-packed adventure.
Starting from his recent post about X, Sudeep unveiled a fresh movie poster and announced that the production officially began on April 16th. Entitled “BRB-The First Blood,” the film is slated to unfold in the year 2209 AD, as pointed out by the actor himself.

To clarify, this recent announcement about the movie is following a previous one made by Kichcha Sudeep, where he disclosed that the filming for BRB will start during the second week of March 2025.
The upcoming movie “Billa Ranga Baashaa” signifies the second joint venture between Kannada actor and filmmaker Anup Bhandari. Their initial collaboration was the successful box-office hit, “Venkat Rona.
According to an article from The New Indian Express, I’ve learned that the plot of this upcoming film takes place in a future world, approximately two centuries from now. This cinematic journey will be presented as a two-part narrative, and it seems like the pre-production phase has been ongoing for quite some time.
In this Kannada action-adventure film, it’s noted that extensive Visual Effects (VFX) and personally crafted 3D sets play a pivotal role. Filming in these locations will continue for approximately 20 to 25 days without pause. During this time, new custom-made 3D sets will also be built.
To add to the excitement, Kichcha Sudeep’s latest film, “Max,” proved to be a massive success at the cinema. Remarkably, it managed to generate substantial earnings even though it was released alongside multiple other films during the same week.
