William Levy Arrested for Disorderly Intoxication and Trespassing

This week, it’s been reported by authorities that Cuban-American actor and ex-model, William Levy, was taken into custody in South Florida.

What was William Levy arrested for?

As reported by NBC Miami from records in Broward County, Florida, it was noted that Levy was taken into custody in Weston, a town located north of Miami, following an incident at Baires Grill on Weston Road. The arrest occurred due to Levy’s involvement in the disturbance at this establishment.

According to the police record, Levy was “extremely drunk and causing a ruckus within the eatery,” and the restaurant manager asked him not to come back. Upon the arrival of the police, Levy persisted in disregarding their orders to vacate the premises. Eventually, he was arrested and detained at the local jailhouse.

On Tuesday, Levy made an appearance in court, with his bail being fixed at $250 for the two counts of public drunkenness and unlawful entry. At present, he is still held in detention.

Levi is most recognized for his roles in several popular Mexican soap operas like Sortilegio, Pasión, and La Tempestad. In 2014, he collaborated with Tyler Perry in The Single Moms Club, followed by a role in the Fox musical drama series Star in 2018.
