In a recent series of photographs taken by paparazzi, Aimee Lou Wood, who is known for her role in The White Lotus, appears to be feeling quite emotional. The actress was seen out and about in South London with her friend and co-writer Ralph Davis, who also works on Film Club. Aimee Lou Wood spotted crying in London

About a week following the end of HBO’s The White Lotus Season 3, Aimee Lou Wood appeared to experience an emotional breakdown in public. At 31 years old and in South London, she was seen wiping away tears. During this emotional moment, Wood received comfort from her partner, Ralph Davis, with a supportive hug.

According to reports, this marked Meryl Streep’s (Wood) first public outing since her Instagram post regarding SNL’s parody. Sporting a baseball cap and jeans for a relaxed style, she was spotted weeping in public before entering a café with Davis, as captured by cameras (as reported by Daily Mail).

Earlier, Wood expressed her displeasure about SNL’s satirical sketch titled “The White Potus” on Instagram. Despite being able to handle jokes, she stated her preference for humor that is witty and positive in nature.

As a fan, I picked up on Wood’s subtle hint that the humor could be more sophisticated and less crass. She emphasized, “However, the entire joke revolved around fluoride, not my dental health.” During the sketch critique, she also remarked, “The remainder of the skit was indeed uplifting.” Regarding her portrayal on Chelsea, she felt that it somehow seemed to be belittling (as reported by BBC).

Besides making it clear that she’s not targeting Sarah Sherman personally, the actress expressed her dislike towards the idea itself. Remarkably, other Instagram users voiced their agreement with her, one of them even pointing out that the sketch appeared to be a loud reversion to 1970s misogyny. The BAFTA-winning star echoed this sentiment by saying, “This perfectly captures my perspective.” She then reposted the user’s comment.

On more than one occasion, Wood has spoken out regarding online discussions surrounding teeth. In an interview with GQ, he touched upon the fact that women’s appearances continue to occupy distinct realms.

Discussing her “genuinely authentic” appearance, Wood commented, “The entire discussion seems to revolve around my teeth, which leaves me feeling a little melancholic as I’d prefer to discuss my work rather than just being praised. It appears they appreciate it because they’re not criticizing.
