In a recent episode of Fire Country’s third season, Station 42 dealt with an accident at a ski resort due to a chairlift malfunction. With fans excitedly waiting for the next installment, there are rumors swirling about a possible character exit. The speculation centers around Jake Crawford, played by Jordan Calloway. Therefore, will Jake be leaving Fire Country Season 3?
This information covers all the essential details regarding the departure of the character from the well-known drama series franchise.
Is Jordan Calloway‘s Jake Crawford leaving Fire Country?
As of now, it is not confirmed whether Jordan Calloway‘s Jake Crawford is leaving Fire Country.
In Episode 17, titled “Fire and Ice,” broadcasted on April 11, 2025, we saw a rollercoaster of events for the character Jake. For those who are not in the know, Jake has been grappling with doubts about his role at the fire station. The weight of Vince’s imminent departure from his battalion chief position is pressing heavily on him, especially since Vince’s son Bode is set to assume the role. Furthermore, Jake isn’t pleased that Vince didn’t inform him before allowing Gabriela’s boyfriend, Finn, to join them on their rides without prior notice.
Later on, he engages in a meaningful talk with Audrey about enhancing her abilities and aiming for advancement at another location. Additionally, he steps in to try to calm down a dispute between Bode and Sharon; however, Sharon requests he keeps his distance. In response, Jake suggests they address their issue privately within the household, but Sharon reminds him of her role as his superior in the division.
Later on, the team sets off for the task of fixing the ski lift issue. While Bode thanks Jake for helping Sharon with her question, Sharon points out that he was also out of bounds. The two then engage in an intriguing discussion, during which Jake shares that it’s not just the station that they admired as children. Additionally, Sharon suggests using a water spray to extinguish the fire, but Bode and Jake prefer snow cannons instead.
Despite Sharon’s instructions, Jake chooses to implement Bode’s strategy instead, which turns out to be effective. However, this decision displeases Sharon, leading her to impose a one-week suspension on Jake. Later on, Jake confides in Audrey that he doesn’t wish to crush the aspirations of his junior and consults Luke over the phone about when would be an appropriate time for him to depart from 42.
As a dedicated fan, I found Jake’s peculiar query to Luke sparking intriguing rumors about his potential departure from the series. Despite the actor and producers staying silent on the matter, it leaves us all in suspense. Whether he chooses to leave after his suspension or fight for redemption, I can’t wait to see what happens next on 42!
