After an intense week of top-tier Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports competition, team ONIC PH emerged victorious at the Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters 2025. They outperformed the world’s elite teams in a nail-biting final match held at Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan in Jakarta. The championship was sealed when they triumphed over RRQ Hoshi in the Grand Final.
Kelra, Gold Laner from ONIC PH complimented their opposition’s performance, stating:
RRQ is a strong team. It’s very difficult to win against their excellent play. Almost all the games played today were balanced. We achieved the victory by outplaying RRQ.
The journey to securing the championship trophy and a significant portion of the potential US $200,000 prize fund was not without challenge for ONIC PH. They had to strategically outplay other teams with exceptional rosters and impressive abilities.
ONIC PH’s Road to Victory At SPS Mobile Masters 2025
The team started their competitive run during the Preliminary Stage, finding themselves in Group A alongside five formidable opponents like Indonesia’s Bigetron Alpha and Turkey’s Papara SuperMassive. After a series of single-match encounters (Single Round Robin), only the top three teams from the group would qualify for the Playoffs.

ONIC PH’s exceptional teamwork and tactical agility propelled them to the leading position in the group, winning every one of their five games. They suffered just one point loss against Team Liquid ID, the national team representatives.
In this tournament, the Filipino team, positioned initially, jumped ahead of the Quarterfinals directly into the Semifinals. There, they encountered Team Falcons in a full-blown matchup that showcased a battle between two outstanding teams from the Philippines.
In this exciting, nail-biting three-game series, each team battled fiercely to earn a place in the Grand Final. Onic PH demonstrated exceptional strategy with their clever rotations and masterful map control, outmaneuvering Team Falcons’ aggressive approach. The final score was 3-1.

RRQ Hoshi stood victorious against ONIC PH in the final showdown. The Indonesian team had been a formidable opponent throughout, remaining unbeaten in the Group Stage. They effortlessly outmaneuvered their opponents with their exceptional teamwork and strategic prowess.
In the intense fight, ONIC PH initially grabbed the lead by securing a point. Yet, Sutsujin’s remarkable skills enabled RRQ Hoshi to counter with a point, thus balancing the scoreline following the conclusion of the first two rounds.
From there, ONIC PH took a bold approach to gameplay that allowed them to overpower the map and their opponents. Supported by their teammates, Kelra and K1NGKONG showcased their exceptional skill at dealing damage, resulting in multiple double and triple kills in subsequent matches.
In the grand finale, it was me, cheering for RRQ as they held a strong advantage. But then, ONIC PH amazed us all with an unbelievable turnaround, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat and securing their spot in the Grand Finals! What a thrilling match that was!

Once the dust settled, it was ONIC PH who came out on top with an impressive 4-1 scoreline.
With this triumph, the team has now placed another trophy in their display case, following their latest wins at the M6 World Championship and MPL Philippines Season 14. Their dominance serves to underline their current status as one of the top Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams globally.
The final stage of the tournament was an incredible display, breaking ESL FACEIT Group’s online viewership records, peaking at approximately 2.7 million simultaneous viewers (excluding China). The live event was a huge success, as all 7,500 tickets for the three-day competition were quickly sold out.
