Before Anna Lezhneva, Namrata Shirodkar once made sacred vow and offered her hair at Tirumala in 2016

Pawan Kalyan’s spouse, Anna Lezhneva, recently donated her hair at Tirumala, praying for the wellbeing of their son Mark Shankar. Fans were moved by her dedication, but it’s difficult not to remember that Mahesh Babu’s wife, Namrata Shirodkar, made a similar act in 2016. She shaved off her hair as part of a religious vow.

Namrata shaved off her long locks at the temple while accompanied by her kids, Gautam and Sitara. This generous deed symbolized her profound devotion and strong bond with the divine, as she made a spiritual sacrifice to Lord Balaji.

At that moment, Namrata posted a picture on Instagram showing herself laughing on the ground as someone took her photo. The image also includes her sister, Shilpa Shirodkar, along with Gautam and Sitara, all of them grinning in the background.

In her post, Namrata expressed, “Reminiscing moments! Travel journals from Tirupati (heartfelt emojis), and now a change in my hairstyle!!!

Shortly following her post, her fans expressed their sentiments through comments. A social media user stated, “I’ve always admired you as a unique individual who sets your own trends. In fact, I shaved my hair on November 14th last year to seek blessings for my son and family from Balaji.

A significant number of temple-goers at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple choose to bald their heads for various religious motives. Some engage in this practice as a fulfillment of a vow, giving up their hair as a token of thanks after their petitions are granted. For others, it signifies a symbolic gesture of devotion and humility. These devotees typically cleanse themselves, shave their heads, and then seek blessings, believing this act results in spiritual rejuvenation.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share an inspiring story similar to that of Namrata, the wife of Pawan Kalyan, who is Anna Lezhneva. Much like Namrata, Anna stepped up in a challenging time when her son, Mark Shankar, experienced a fire accident at school in Singapore. The incident left him with burns on his body, and he required medical attention, including a procedure called bronchoscopy, for treatment.

Now, the little one has arrived in India with his parents and has been recovering well.
