Who is Priya Prakash Varrier?
Born on October 28th, 1999, in the state of Kerala, Priya Prakash Varrier was raised by her father, who works in the Central Excise Department, and her homemaker mother. She completed her education at Sandeepani Vidya Nikethan in Thrissur before starting her Bachelor of Commerce degree at Vimala College in 2018.
In 2018, Priya became widely recognized across the country due to her first movie, Oru Adaar Love. A snippet of the song Maanikya Malaraya Poovi, where she playfully winked, rapidly spread online and gained a lot of attention.
Following her rise to fame online, Priya ventured into various movie industries. She sang the Malayalam song “Nee Mazhavillu Polen” with Naresh Iyer in the 2019 film “Finals”. Additionally, she was featured in the Hindi movie “Sridevi Bungalow”, alongside Arbaaz Khan. However, the release of this film has been delayed due to legal complications.
2021 saw the actress stepping into the Telugu film industry through “Check,” where she portrayed a character known as a honey trapper. Her Kannada film debut was in the movie named “Vishnu Priya.” Additionally, she graced Dhanush’s directorial, “NEEK” the same year. More recently, Priya has been noticed for her acting in “Good Bad Ugly,” starring Ajith Kumar, and gained recognition yet again for her work alongside Arjun Das.

The actress fondly reminisced about the meals and discussions during filming, particularly on the cruise. She was moved by his patience and humility, referring to him as a precious gem and an authentic “sambavam” actor. Her most treasured career experience, she shared, was dancing with him in Thottu Thottu.
