After the incident, a source close to Swift who spoke with The Daily Mail stated that she had sent a cease-and-desist order to West. This source explained, “This isn’t just [West] spreading rumors. This is [West] sexually harassing a woman, slandering her, and attempting to damage both her reputation and her career.” Essentially, the formal letter requests that he halt making harmful, defamatory statements immediately.
Swift’s boyfriend, NFL player Travis Kelce, has also been deeply affected by the situation, with reports indicating that he is extremely angry.
