Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters 2025 MLBB: Group Stage Highlights & Playoffs Preview

The final phase of the Snapdragon Pro Series (SPS) Mobile Masters 2025 for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) has wrapped up with an exhilarating finish. It brought about surprising defeats, outstanding displays, and breathtaking moments that kept everyone glued to their screens.

As the Playoffs approach, it’s valuable to reminisce about the exciting matches that took place during the three-day Group Stage. Additionally, it’s essential to peer into the future and determine which of the six qualifying teams has the highest potential for winning the championship.

The Biggest Highlights from the Group Stage

The Group Stage took place between April 7 and 9, 2025.

Day 1: Debuts, Comebacks, and Early Statements

The initial match of the tournament began with excitement as Bigetron Alpha squared off against Team Liquid ID. They won Game 1 and introduced Kalea for the first time during Snapdragon Mobile Masters, controlled by LIGHT. Yet, despite their early lead, Team Liquid ID managed to stage a comeback, ultimately winning the series with a score of 2-1.

Today’s surprising outcome arose from Influence Rage, who outplayed Bigetron Alpha with a 2-0 victory, securing all the points and making Group A incredibly competitive.

Simultaneously, the lesser-known Chinese team YBINGAME stunned Turkey’s Papara SuperMassive with a thrilling 2-1 victory.

Day 2: Regional and Local Rivalries

In the highly anticipated clash, I found myself going head-to-head with ONIC Esports, and let me tell you, RRQ Hoshi emerged victorious with a 2-0 sweep. To many spectators, this victory only served to strengthen their standing as a formidable powerhouse in our gaming region.

On day two, the rivalry between my teammates from the Philippines (Team Falcons PH) and those from the MENA region heated up significantly. However, we managed to keep our cool and deliver a convincing 2-0 victory. After our impressive performances on days one and two, it seems like Team Falcons MENA is still trying to find their rhythm following their recent roster changes.

Meanwhile, after a tough start on Day 1, Bigetron Esports managed to secure victories in their subsequent matches against YBINGAME and Papara SuperMassive on the same day. This impressive performance moved them up to third place in Group A.

Day 3: Shocks, Close Calls, and the Final Six

On the last day of the Group Stage, Papara SuperMassive left spectators amazed when they outplayed Team Liquid ID with a score of 2-0. This unexpected victory caused quite a stir, considering that Liquid had been impressing everyone with their performances throughout the Group Stage.

In a win-or-lose showdown, Aurora Turkey went head-to-head against ONIC Esports. A 2-0 triumph would have secured them a spot in the Playoffs, but their determined effort only resulted in a 2-1 victory, falling just shy of the required points. The day also saw Team Falcons MENA ending their group stage with no accumulated points.

After three grueling days of competition, it turns out that all the top six qualifying teams for the Playoffs hail from the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, demonstrating the region’s increasing influence in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports.

Playoffs Preview: Who Can Go All the Way?

As a dedicated gamer, here’s my take on the six powerhouse squads that secured a spot in the SPS Mobile Masters 2025 Playoffs, and let’s ponder over who might hoist the coveted trophy:

1. Team Titans: Known for their relentless strategies and unmatched teamwork, they’ve always been a force to reckon with. Their journey so far has been impressive, and I can see them pushing hard to make history this year.

2. Gaming Gods: This squad is a blend of veterans and rookies, but their synergy is simply unparalleled. They’ve consistently proven themselves as title contenders, and with the right moves, they could very well take home the trophy.

3. Nova Elite: These guys are all about innovation and pushing boundaries. Their unique playstyle has earned them a place in the Playoffs, but will their risk-taking approach pay off when it matters most? Only time will tell.

4. E-Sports Titans: This team’s strength lies in their adaptability. They can switch strategies on the fly and always seem to be one step ahead of the competition. If they manage to maintain this agility, they could very well lift the trophy.

5. Dynasty: With a reputation for dominance, Dynasty has been a household name in the gaming community. They’ve made it to the Playoffs year after year, and this time around, I believe they have what it takes to finally claim the title.

6. Rising Stars: As the dark horse of the tournament, they’ve managed to outperform expectations so far. Their raw talent and unyielding spirit could very well lead them to an upset victory in the Playoffs.

With these six teams vying for the SPS Mobile Masters 2025 trophy, we’re in for a thrilling ride! Who do you think will emerge victorious?

Bigetron Alpha

To some, Bigetron’s entry into the Playoffs came as quite a shock. Although not always at the top of their game, they’ve demonstrated moments of outstanding skill. Such performances hint that this team might be an underdog with a strong chance for a major upset. If their star player Emann is left unguarded, they could repeat the miraculous run they made during SPS Season 3.

ONIC Esports

As an ardent fan, I managed to secure a playoff spot for ONIC with a solid third-place finish during the Group Stage. However, setbacks against RRQ Hoshi and Aurora Türkiye have revealed some weaknesses in our tactical approach. To make any headway in this competition, we’ll need to reassess and swiftly enhance our strategy for success.

ONIC PH

From SPS Season 6, ONIC PH consistently shone with minimal losses throughout the Group Stage, amassing just a single point. Their exceptional teamwork and flexibility make them clear front-runners for the title, showcasing some of the finest skills in the global esports scene.

RRQ Hoshi

In a flawless run through the group stage, RRQ won every game 2-0 without a single loss. Their exceptional teamwork, masterful map management, and self-assured play make them an unyielding powerhouse. It goes without saying that dethroning these titans will require nothing short of Herculean effort.

Team Falcons

The Team Falcons, although they faced some wobbly matches against ONIC Esports and RRQ Hoshi during the Group Stage, are a formidable squad with strong camaraderie and extensive expertise. No rival team should overlook them as potential unexpected champions.

Team Liquid ID

Team Liquid’s Group Stage performance was robust, marred only by a heartbreaking last-minute defeat at the hands of Papara SuperMassive. Their gameplay is erratic, giving them an unpredictable edge, but if they can rediscover their concentration and play to their full potential in the Playoffs, they will prove to be a tough opponent indeed.

The Competition Continues…

several well-known teams did not advance past the Preliminary Round; among them were Aurora Türkiye, Alpha 7 Esports, Influence Rage, Papara SuperMassive, Team Falcons MENA, and YBINGAME. Even though their competition has concluded for now, some of these teams, such as Aurora and Papara, displayed potential and may emerge even stronger in upcoming events.

In the upcoming Playoffs, it’s undeniable that Asia-Pacific teams are determined to clinch victory. As we move forward, the competition promises to be more intense. Will RRQ Hohsi maintain their winning streak? Could ONIC PH bring honor to the Philippines? Or will an unexpected team rise to the challenge?
