Warner Bros. Discovery has formally announced the digital, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates for the film starring Robert De Niro in dual roles, titled “The Alto Knights“.

When is The Alto Knights digital, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates?

On April 11, 2025, the Alto Knights will make their debut on various digital streaming platforms. This includes popular outlets such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango At Home, among others.

Beginning on May 27, 2025, you’ll be able to purchase and own “The Alto Knights” in Blu-ray and DVD format following its digital release. Additionally, the home edition of the film will come with a special feature called “One Legend, Two Mobsters,” which delves into Robert De Niro’s portrayal in the movie.

The movie focuses on two infamous crime lords in New York City, Frank Costello (played by De Niro) and Vito Genovese (also played by De Niro), who are battling for dominance over the city’s streets. Initially close friends, minor grudges and a chain of deceit lead them towards an inevitable confrontation that will alter both the Mafia and America permanently.

I’m thrilled to mention that in this movie, I get the unique opportunity to portray not one, but two iconic figures – Vito Genovese and Frank Costello. This star-studded production also features talented actors like Debra Messing, Kathrine Narducci, Cosmo Jarvis, Michael Rispoli, Michael Adler, Ed Amatrudo, Joe Bacino, Anthony J. Gallo, Wallace Langham, Louis Mustillo, Frank Piccirillo, Matt Servitto, and Robert Uricola, much like the impressive ensemble cast of “Raging Bull”.

In this production, Barry Levinson takes on the role of the director, while Nicholas Pileggi pens the screenplay. The esteemed team of Irwin Winkler, Jason Sosnoff, Levinson, Charles Winkler, and David Winkler serve as producers for the film, with Mike Drake acting as executive producer.
