The star shooting guard of the Phoenix Suns is preparing for a new phase, as he’s set to debut his first personalized shoe with Nike towards the end of this year. In anticipation of its release in December, fans have been given sneak peeks. The most recent glimpse is the upcoming Nike Book 1, which comes in a color scheme reminiscent of his old school, Moss Point High School.

The design of the shoe is influenced by the neighborhood store that Book often visited during his school days, resembling the Devin Booker x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Moss Point” released in 2019. Just like the AF1, Book’s signature shoe features a soft cerulean leather upper with gunmetal accents on the heel guard, giving it a similar subtle shade. The sole has a pearl-like finish, and on the metallic heel, you’ll find embroidered phrases “Yes Ma’am” and “No Sir,” reflecting Book’s Southern heritage. The heel tag bears “96,” symbolizing his birth year.

In December, the first edition of “The Nike Book 1” in its signature vibrant orange is set to debut as a limited release, with just 500 pairs being made available initially. Additional color variations such as “Moss Point” are expected to follow in the spring season. Keep an eye out for this shoe on Nike and selected retailers once it’s released.
