According to Jon Gries, he’s eager to take on the character of Greg Hunt once more if the storyline for The White Lotus Season 4 requires it.

You can now watch the climactic end of HBO’s The White Lotus Season 3 on Max. This newest installment of The White Lotus, again penned by Mike White, features Mike White returning as Greg, while the ensemble also includes Carrie Coon, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and several others.

What did Jon Gries say about potentially returning for The White Lotus Season 4?

Since Greg made it through The White Lotus Season 3, having been a part of every season so far, The Hollywood Reporter questioned Gries about the possibility of him coming back for Season 4.

Mike White’s actions are unpredictable, as he himself never expected to be part of season two, let alone season three,” he remarked. “Every move he makes carries an element of surprise. I’d be thrilled to return, but it’s hard to say if Greg’s story in the book is fully told – I can’t reveal that information.

In the final episode of The White Lotus Season 3, it was shown that Aimee Lou Wood’s character Chelsea and Walton Goggins’ character Rick Hatchett were fatally wounded in a shootout at the Thailand resort. Conversely, Greg persisted through the series’ events, remaining with Chloe (played by Charlotte Le Bon), and now appears to have found an individual who is open to participating in their shared sexual escapades.

After Greg agrees to give Belinda $5 million to keep silent about his connection to Tanya McQuoid’s death, she departs Thailand to create some distance from him. However, there’s a possibility that Greg might renege on the deal and try to find Belinda later.

In January 2025, it was confirmed that The White Lotus would return for its fourth season. As of now, no information about the cast or shooting locations has been revealed. Currently, there’s no set release date for The White Lotus Season 4.
