For the 30th anniversary of “A Goofy Movie,” Disney has reunited the two main actors from the original cast in a special video. Furthermore, the studio is also releasing a documentary on Disney+ called “Not Just a Goof.” This film offers fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes peek into the creation of the 1995 comedy adventure.
The first version of this film was masterfully directed by Kevin Lima based on a script penned by Jymm Magon, Chris Mattheson, and Brian Pimental. The cast included Bill Farmer lending his voice to Goofy, Jason Marsden as Max, Jim Cummings as Pete, Kellie Martin as Roxanne, Rob Paulsen as P.J., among others. Although it garnered a mix of opinions from critics at first, it eventually became an adored staple for Disney enthusiasts, earning the status of a cult classic.

A Goofy Movie cast reflects on the iconic animated movie
The video celebrating thirty years showcases Farmer and Marsden cruising in a revamped AMC Pacer, reminiscent of Goofy’s yellow car from the 1995 movie. They reminisced about their filmmaking journey, the enduring influence and effect it has had, and even disclosed their favorite moments from the movie itself.
