Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves adds DJ Salvatore Ganacci to the playable roster

In April, we’re expecting the release of “Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves,” but before then, developer SNK is dishing out updates! This week’s news reveals another guest character joining the game. The upcoming addition is DJ Salvatore Ganacci, who will be a playable character in the game. His unique fighting style, centered around dance, is set to liven up the main roster.

This week, it was announced that Salvatore, a well-known DJ who is famous for his music and content with comedic, absurd, and surreal themes, particularly popular in Europe, will be a playable character in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. If you’re wondering who he is, that’s him! He was also part of a DJ collaboration for Fatal Fury, where he gathered 11 other DJs to create original music for the game. It looks like his involvement has now earned him a spot as a playable character in the game.

Ganacci’s combat technique is infused with rhythm and dance. Many of his moves appear more like dance steps, such as the repeated striking attack called rekka, where he seemingly sings his opponent off balance three times before launching them on the third strike. His ultimate move, Hidden Gear, is a super based on his horse-themed music video, contributing to his viral fame.

It’s surprising to find another new character taking a lead role in Fatal Fury: City of Wolves, given that SNK had been promoting Duck King as if he were the main character, only to reveal him representing Ganacci instead. Having Duck King in the game would have been exciting, but a fresh disciple could also be interesting since characters like Preecha and Dong Hwan are already included. Interestingly, Freeman, Hokotumaru, and Kim Jae Hoon from the original Garou roster are missing from

Similarly to Ronaldo, Salvatore Ganacci’s move seems to be an attempt to draw more global attention to the game. Keep an eye out here at Shacknews for upcoming news about Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, which releases this month.
