New Naked Gun Trailer: O.J. Joke?! You Won’t Believe What They Did!

The first trailer for the new The Naked Gun movie has been released.

In August, Paramount Pictures will be premiering a fresh installment of The Naked Gun series in American cinemas. This film, titled The Naked Gun 4 1/4: Law of Toughness, features Liam Neeson portraying the son of Leslie Nielsen’s character, Frank Drebin.

What happens in The Naked Gun trailer?

The opening scene of The Naked Gun trailer features a young girl effortlessly slipping past law enforcement, making her way into an ongoing bank heist. Upon removing her disguise, we discover she is none other than Frank Drebin Jr., portrayed by Neeson, who subsequently engages in a brutal confrontation with the perpetrators of the crime.

Towards the closing moments of the trailer, Liam Neeson converses with an image of his late father. Other officers are depicted kneeling before photos of their deceased fathers as well, while the officer standing before O.J. Simpson’s photograph turns to the camera and sadly shakes his head.

In each of the initial three Naked Gun films – “The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!” (1988), “The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear” (1991), and “Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult” (1994) – Simpson portrayed Fred Nordberg. After this, he faced a trial for the alleged murder of Nicole Brown.
