CinemaCon Unveils Emotional Footage of Upcoming ‘Karate Kid: Legends’

I’ve had the privilege of being part of the stellar cast gracing the big screen with Sony’s newest addition to the Karate Kid martial arts saga at CinemaCon.

The intricate showcase of the project kicked off with a troupe of dancers, drummers, and lantern bearers on stage. Subsequently, at the Vegas event, it was Ralph Macchio, famously known for his role as Daniel LaRusso in the 1984 original film “The Karate Kid” and the Netflix series “Cobra Kai,” who made a grand entrance. Accompanying him was Ben Wang, a newcomer to the franchise, portraying Li Fong – a martial arts student under the tutelage of both Daniel LaRusso and Mr. Han, played by Jackie Chan in the series.

In a scene revealed at CinemaCon, fresh footage depicted Mr. Han expressing his emotional tribute to the late Mr. Miyagi and forging a connection with Daniel LaRusso. During this sequence, Chan is heard saying, “I want Li to learn Miyagi karate.” Additionally, an adrenaline-pumping action clip was also unveiled; it’s likely that this will be leaked online imminently.
