Actor Tommy Flanagan, known for his work in “Sons of Anarchy” and “Gladiator”, will be part of the main cast in Season 3 of HBO’s fantasy drama series “House of the Dragon” for a significant character.
According to George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series “House of the Dragon” is a prequel, taking place 200 years before the events in “Game of Thrones.” This show centers around the tale of House Targaryen.
In the upcoming events, Flanagan will portray Ser Roderick Dustin, a seasoned warlord from the north, who commands a formidable unit of experienced warriors called the Winter Wolves. They are poised to join forces with Rhaenyra Targaryen in the Dance of the Dragons, lending their support to her claim.
Flanagan has been added to the roster of newly announced actors, with James Norton set to play Ormund Hightower in the upcoming season.
