Jr NTR is often referred to as “the people’s favorite,” thanks to his impressive body of work across various film genres and numerous collaborations. At one point, speculation arose about his romantic involvement with actress Sameera Reddy, but that was in the past.

For those not familiar with it, the twosome were the main actors for the movie “Ashok,” directed by Surender Reddy and released in 2006. Although the film didn’t perform exceptionally well at the box office, whispers about a romantic relationship between Jr NTR and Sameera began circulating.

In an earlier conversation with YouTube personality Prema Malini, Sameera Reddy shared insights about this very topic, expressing that her friendship with the actor known as ‘Devara’ star had grown too intense in public perception.

She shared that Devara Star was a solitary young man whom she considered a close friend. However, rumors began spreading falsehoods about them, causing her to face scrutiny from her stern father.

She mentioned, “Initially, we grew close and developed a friendship. Yet, this friendship escalated beyond expectation, making it a significant topic of conversation. Eventually, the discussions surrounding it became overwhelming, causing distress within my family.

In simpler terms, the actress stated, “Although I’ve played daring roles in numerous films, I’m always mindful that my father is a traditional Andhra Reddy man. He faces questions from his family often.

Later on, Sameera Reddy explained that because the gossip and conjecture had become excessive, she chose to leave the Telugu film industry permanently. She pointed out that instead of discussing her professional achievements, people were only talking about her relationship with Jr NTR.

According to her, the conversation didn’t revolve around her abilities. Instead, it shifted from Sameera Reddy to Sameera NTR.
