In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, if you’re detected by enemies within their territories and they sound an alarm bell, your status changes to ‘wanted’, which means all nearby enemies become instantly alerted to your presence throughout the region. This can be problematic when you aim for stealth, but fortunately, there’s a solution available.

How to remove wanted status in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Here are two methods to clear your wanted status:

a) If the wanted status is location-dependent, simply depart from that region until the seasons shift. Once they do, your wanted status will be removed automatically. This option works best if you’ve accomplished your mission in the area and have no pressing tasks left.

b) Alternatively, you can manually adjust the season on the world map by holding down on the D-pad.

Should you find yourself marked as wanted, consider utilizing Scouts to resolve this situation. To do so, ensure that your Kakegura in your home base has been upgraded to level two first. Once ready, navigate to your map, locate the region with the Wanted status, and then press the button as prompted to remove the status.
