Marvel Studios is gradually unveiling the cast for the upcoming film titled “Avengers: Doomsday“, and they did so with a humorous twist by announcing Paul Rudd’s involvement in the project.

On the Marvel Entertainment YouTube channel, they’ve been gradually unveiling the cast of Doomsday through a live video. The camera is moving at a leisurely pace, sweeping over various chairs, and every 10 minutes or so, it stops to reveal an actor’s name.

As the big moment arrived to present Rudd as part of the team, Marvel chose to inject some humor into the situation. The camera swooped over, revealing an empty spot instead, then dipped lower, showcasing that Rudd’s chair was noticeably smaller compared to the rest. This was a nod to my character, Ant-Man, and his unique ability to shrink to tiny proportions.

Apart from Kirby and Hemsworth, the movie will also feature Robert Downey Jr., who will portray Doctor Doom/Victor von Doom. It’s worth noting that Downey Jr. previously played Tony Stark/Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but his character met his end in Avengers: Endgame back in 2019.
