Horror Director Reaches Out to Dead By Daylight Devs for Epic Collaboration!

Fans of Dead By Daylight have long imagined many ideal collaborations. One such dream is about to become reality with Five Nights At Freddy’s, and Tokyo Ghoul is also slated for release soon. These are significant crossovers for DBD, but a renowned horror movie director has recently approached the developers of Dead By Daylight for an exciting collaboration that fans have been eagerly anticipating.

Horror movie director approaches Dead By Daylight devs for collaboration

Known for his chilling work in the horror genre, Don Coscarelli boasts a dedicated following. While he’s dabbled in other genres like fantasy with films like The Beastmaster, it’s arguably his terrifying masterpiece, Phantasm, that resonates most deeply with fans.

The Phantasm franchise, renowned for its chilling atmosphere, introduces a memorable figure known as the Tall Man. Fans have previously expressed their desire to see this character appear in Dead By Daylight, and this wish has resurfaced once more.

In response to Esther’s comment, Don Coscarelli casually expressed, “Feel free to reach out to me on DMs,” and he tagged the Dead By Daylight account, along with Mathieu Cote, the game director and BeHaviour Interactive’s partnership head.

It’s thrilling that Don Coscarelli is talking with BeHaviour Interactive about a crossover with DBD, but it’s not just him who’s expressed interest in this; many well-known figures have publicly voiced their desire for a DBD crossover. For instance, the creator of Terrifier has mentioned wanting their character in DBD, Outlast creators Red Barrells have hinted at an Outlast Chapter collaboration, and Nine Ice Kills team has expressed they’re open to a collaboration as well.

It’d be terrific to have the Legendary Skin of the Tall Man character! Or, having him as a solo killer in Dead by Daylight would be exceptional. However, unfortunately, no official news is available at the moment regarding this or any other crossovers joining Dead by Daylight beyond Five Nights At Freddy’s.
