Leading up to the release of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”, actor Pedro Pascal revealed an intriguing detail about his character’s abilities in the film. He plays Mister Fantastic, aka Reed Richards, who has the unique power to extend and shape his body parts at will in this upcoming Marvel production. However, it seems that these powers were mysteriously kept hidden in the first trailer, leaving fans puzzled as to why such an unusual creative decision was made by Marvel. Pascal has confirmed that Mister Fantastic’s ability to manipulate his body extends to every part of his physique.

As Jimmy Kimmel continued to push the envelope, he whipped out a Fantastic Four comic strip featuring Mister Fantastic and his ladylove, the Invisible Woman, Sue Storm. In one panel, Sue was seen subtly complimenting Reed Richards’ powers in a not-so-subtle way, saying something like “Have I ever told you how amazing your abilities from those cosmic rays are?” In response to this suggestive comment, the star of The Last of Us quickly changed the subject, asserting that Mister Fantastic is truly gifted when it comes to engaging in deep, meaningful conversations during their time together.
As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t help but feel a tinge of excitement about the Fantastic Four team we’ve caught glimpses of in the trailer so far. But what’s got me truly buzzing is the mystery surrounding the powers of Reed Richards – the genius inventor and leader of our superhero squad.
Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long for those answers, as the movie directed by Matt Shakman is set to hit theaters on July 25, 2025. I, for one, can hardly contain my anticipation!
