Excitedly speaking as a fan here, I can’t help but share the thrill after catching wind of the latest news about Kaiju No.8 Season 2! At yesterday’s AnimeJapan 2025 event, TOHO graciously revealed a tantalizing new teaser trailer for the upcoming season. The anticipation is building!
In the newly released trailer for Season 2, we get a peek at some upcoming events, but what truly stands out is Gen Narumi, the Captain of the Defense Force’s First Division and a beloved character from the original manga. Narumi was introduced briefly in the final episode of Season 1, leaving fans slightly disgruntled due to his less-than-stellar adaptation in the anime version. However, in this new teaser, Production I.G. has made noticeable improvements, offering a more polished portrayal of Narumi.
