This week, I came across a fresh snippet from the much-anticipated Lilo & Stitch live-action remake, and it seems some details aren’t quite right, sparking concern among us dedicated fans.
What CGI error did fans find in the Lilo & Stitch remake?
In the fresh video, Lilo, her sister Nani, and Stitch are spotted arriving at Nani’s workplace. An attempt is made to confine Stitch within a baby seat. Yet, viewers pointed out an interesting detail: Maia Kealoha (the actress portraying Lilo) gestures behind Stitch towards the ground during this scene.
It seems plausible that Kealoha indicated towards a stand-in for Stitch during the movie’s filming, but the computer-generated Stitch on screen appears to be in front of the marker. Fans have swiftly noted this discrepancy.
Is it possible that the director, rather than the child, made a change regarding Stitch’s position within the scene? By any chance, did they alter where Stitch was meant to be in the shot? She chuckles and gestures towards the ground, as if amused, since he is standing right beside her.

The synopsis describes an innovative retelling in live-action format of Disney’s 2002 animated movie ‘Lilo & Stitch’. This tale is full of humor and heart, following a young girl from Hawaii who feels lonely, and the runaway extraterrestrial who assists her in healing her fractured family.
In the script’s creation, Chris Kekaniokalani Bright was the author, but it was Sanders and DeBlois who penned and directed the screenplay for the 2002 film initially. Sanders lent his voice to the character in the original movie as well as various other projects like Lilo & Stitch: The Series, Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch from 2005, and Leroy & Stitch in 2006.
