Actor David Costabile is set to return as Daniel Hardman in the current NBC series, “Suits LA“. This spin-off of the widely praised legal drama Suits made its debut on February 23, 2025, and boasts a talented ensemble cast including Stephen Amell, Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis, Bryan Greenberg, among others.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that David Costabile, known for his captivating portrayal of Daniel Hardman in Suits, is set to reprise his role in the spinoff, Suits LA! This exciting news comes straight from Variety. Daniel Hardman was undeniably one of the most beloved recurring characters from the original series, and I can hardly wait to see him back in action!
It’s reported that the actor will show up in an upcoming episode, but specifics about this episode are yet to be revealed. Moreover, his role is said to be a guest appearance. Previously, Costabile’s character Hardman was one of the co-founders and former partners at Pearson Hardman. He was let go from the law firm when it was uncovered that he was involved in financial theft.
Besides Costabile, Gabriel Macht – famed for his character Harvey Spector in the original series of Suits – has already been seen in Episode 4, titled “Batman Returns.” This episode, broadcast on March 16, showcased a flashback scene with Macht’s character. Furthermore, Rick Hoffman, known for his role as Louis Litt, is also set to appear in Suits LA.
In a recent interview, Gabriel Macht spoke about his return as beloved character Harvey Spector in the upcoming spinoff series. He stated that he is doing this to give fans what they want and to help the new cast members create exciting characters for the Los Angeles-based show. Macht sees his role as a way of supporting them by saying, “Go ahead, take the lead and run with it.” Additionally, he expressed confidence in his ability to reprise the part of Spector in the spinoff.
