Henry, portrayed by Gus Turner in Seasons 1 to 3 as the son of Jason Sudeikis’ character Ted, might be played by a different child actor in Season 4. The reason for this change hasn’t been explicitly stated by Warner Bros yet, but Deadline suggests it could be because the new actor is proficient at soccer since Season 4 seems to focus on Henry’s soccer skills.

It was recently announced by Sudeikis himself that Ted Lasso’s fourth season will indeed take place. According to Variety, the actor explained in a statement that in Season 4, the characters at AFC Richmond will learn to jump without looking first, realizing that wherever they end up, it is precisely where they are meant to be.

In a conversation with Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce on their podcast, New Heights, Jason Sudeikis provided some insights into the upcoming season of the show. It was revealed that in Season 4, the character Ted Lasso will step into the role of coaching a women’s team.
