Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce come together to win iHeartRadio award

This is likely the offseason for both Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and music icon Taylor Swft. She is not currently on tour, and if she is recording a new album, no one seems to know it. Kelce’s season ended with a Super Bowl loss and her won’t have to worry about practice again until the summer.

So what else there to do for the power couple? Win awards, it appears. At the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards this week, the couple won a trophy for Kelce basically showing up at a Swift concert in London as part of her Eras Tour. (OK, he did more than show up, but only barely.)

The win was for Favorite Surprise Guest. Kelce appeared on stage with Swift dressed in a tuxedo as part of the show. The two likely just wanted to have a little fun, and did not expect to win an award because of it. (Plus, who knew there was such an award.)

Swift did well overall at the fan-voting-based awards ceremony. She took home eight trophies total, including Artist of the Year, Pop Album of the Year (forThe Tortured Poets Department), Favorite Tour Tradition, Best Lyrics (“Fortnight”), Best Music Video (“Fortnight”), Favorite Tour Style, and Favorite On Screen.

The performer also might have worn a necklace that hinted at Reputation (Taylor’s Version) arriving sometime soon. She wore a snake necklace and snakes are a theme throughout the album. 2025 is also the Year of the Snake. Or all this means is that Swift is just a big fan of the reptiles.

Still, many Swifties on social media noticed the necklace and were quite excited about the possibility. The original album came out in 2017. Her last five albums are under her new deal with Republic Records, so one would assume those are truly Taylor’s versions and won’t be re-recorded.
