Australian cricketing star David Warner is all set to make his first appearance in Indian cinema through a cameo role in the upcoming movie “Robinhood,” featuring Nithiin and Sreeleela. Prior to its release on March 28, 2025, the filmmakers have revealed Warner’s official look for the film.
On social media, they posted, “Announcing the arrival of the globally adored David Warner to Indian films as a thrilling cameo in #Robinhood! The grand worldwide release is set for March 28th.

The upcoming Telugu movie, titled “Robinhood,” presents a contemporary take on the Robin Hood legend. This new protagonist seeks excitement and danger, but gets embroiled in a whirlwind of love, adventure, and amusement instead.
Featuring Nithiin and Sreeleela in the main characters, this movie is helmed by Venky Kudumula. The talented ensemble also includes Shine Tom Chacko, Rajendra Prasad, and Vennela Kishore. The music for the film is produced by GV Prakash Kumar.
In other words, Robinhood signifies the second joint venture of actor Nithiin and filmmaker Venky Kudumula, following their 2020 blockbuster Bheeshma, which featured Rashmika Mandanna and garnered acclaim from both critics and audiences.
Regarding Nithiin’s latest projects, his most recent appearance was in Extra Ordinary Man (2023), an action-comedy movie helmed by director Vakkantham Vamsi. Despite Sreeleela being cast as the female lead, the film met with unfavorable reviews in cinemas.
Apart from Robinhood, Nithiin will next be seen in the lead role in Thammudu.
At present, Sreeleela is engaged in shooting for her Tamil premiere titled Parasakthi, which co-stars Sivakarthikeyan and Ravi Mohan. Moreover, she’s preparing for her debut in Bollywood alongside Kartik Aaryan in an upcoming movie. In addition to these projects, she has lined up Mass Jathara and Ustaad Bhagat Singh in the future.
