At long last, Strange Scaffold’s latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game titled TMNT: Tactical Takedown has officially announced its release date! This exciting turn-based strategy title was unveiled at the end of last year, teasing players with the prospect of commanding the turtles in their battle against the Foot Clan. Now, we eagerly await its arrival, slated for May 2025.
As a thrilled gamer, I’m pumped to share some exciting news! Just yesterday, Strange Scaffold unveiled the launch date for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown, and it’s not something we’ll have to wait long for – May 22, 2025, on PC. Unfortunately, it seems they’re focusing solely on PC for now, but let’s hope other platforms join the party soon! Take a peek at the latest trailer below to catch a glimpse of this tactical masterpiece in action. Can’t wait to get my hands on it! 🎮💪🐢💥
TMNT: Tactical Takedown stands out as an innovative independent take on the well-loved franchise. Known for their creatively distinctive games, Strange Scaffold has produced titles like I Am Your Beast and El Paso, Elsewhere. Tactical Takedown maintains this uniqueness in appearance. Players guide the turtles through approximately 20 levels of strategic turn-based combat against the Foot Clan and its henchmen. The game resembles a board game with each character represented by a game piece, yet offers unique abilities for each turtle – such as Donatello’s shock bomb that can stun enemies in a cross pattern or Raphael’s flipkick maneuver where he leaps over foes while attacking them.
Looking ahead, we’re eagerly anticipating the final spring season to try out TMNT: Tactical Takedown, scheduled for release in May. Keep an eye out for additional news regarding the Strange Scaffold subject.
