The host of the 2026 Golden Globes has been revealed.
In January 2026, you can watch the 83rd Golden Globe Awards live on CBS television, or stream it on Paramount+ within the U.S. The specific date and time have yet to be announced.
Who will host the 2026 Golden Globes?
2026 will see Nikki Glaser once again taking on the role as the host for the Golden Globes, making this her second year in a row to do so.
This year’s Golden Globes hosting gig was hands down the most enjoyable experience of my career, according to Glaser in a statement. “I can hardly wait for another chance to host, and I hope it will be with the crew from ‘The White Lotus,’ who might finally appreciate my abilities enough to cast me as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor in season four, complete with a mysterious past.
As a gamer, I’d say: “This year at the Golden Globes, Nikki Glaser brought a fresh, fearless sense of humor that electrified the stage. Her quick wit and bold personality set the mood for an incredible evening, turning the event into something vibrant, lively, and, above all, fun!
In 2025, Glaser made history by being the first woman to single-handedly host the Golden Globes ceremony. She garnered considerable acclaim for her role as the emcee of the globally renowned awards show that honors both film and television productions. Following comedian Jo Koy’s tenure in 2024, Glaser took over the hosting duties.
2024 marked the peak of Glaser’s professional career as a comedian, with The New York Times naming her “Comedian of the Year” for that year. Her HBO special titled Someday You’ll Day garnered impressive ratings, becoming the network’s top premiere night for a comedy special in more than two years. Furthermore, it set a new record for the largest streaming audience for a comedy special on HBO/Max. The special was met with critical acclaim and earned Glaser several awards and nominations, including a Writers Guild Award, as well as nods from the Critics’ Choice, Golden Globes, Grammys, and Emmys.
Recently, Glaser concluded her world tour titled “The Good Girl” for stand-up comedy. Currently, she’s embarking on a new tour across the United States, Canada, and Australia called “Alive and Unwell.” This tour will continue until October 2025.
Dick Clark Productions will plan, host, and produce the annual Golden Globes.
