Previously featured on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Brandi Glanville recently shared an update with fans about her ongoing struggle with facial issues. For over a year now, Glanville has been seeking solutions to address her disfigurement, yet a lasting remedy remains elusive. Her health concerns appear to have worsened significantly, according to Glanville herself.
Here’s everything fans need to know about what’s been happening with Brandi Glanville’s face.
Brandi Glanville gives update about her face lumps
On March 8th, the ex-model posted an update about her health concerns on her old social media platform (previously Twitter). Speaking candidly to her followers, Brandi Glanville described her current issues as multiple painful lumps located in her jawbone area, side of her neck, and back of her neck. She also mentioned experiencing recurring chills, a persistent oily and foul-tasting drainage from her face into her mouth which is corrosive and damaging her teeth, and an acidic sensation. Furthermore, she explained that all of her lymph nodes in her head and neck are swollen. Despite doctors at Kaiser assuring her that she’s okay, Brandi appealed for help due to her concerns.
You’ve got painful bumps in the jaw bone region, near your neck on one side, and at the back of your neck. I’m also experiencing recurring chills, a persistent foul-tasting discharge from my face that flows into my mouth, which is acidic and seems to be damaging my teeth. Furthermore, many of my lymph nodes in both the head and neck are swollen. However, doctors at Kaiser have told me I’m okay, but I need help figuring out what might be wrong.

Though medical experts are still figuring out what Brandi Glanville’s health issue is exactly, she believes it might be due to unidentified facial parasites. On March 6, the former Celebrity Apprentice contestant revealed that a specific treatment improved her condition, but it was a costly solution. She mentioned on X that when doctors at Cedars-Sinai put her on IV antibiotics and fungal medication, she started getting better. However, she couldn’t afford to continue with this treatment. As the doctors at Kaiser didn’t know how to help, she had to seek care from outside her insurance network.
For two weeks now, my closest friend has been critically ill in the ICU and shows no signs of improvement. My facial condition has worsened significantly, making it appear as if my face is melting away. However, when doctors at Cedars Sinai hospital began administering intravenous antibiotics and antifungal medication to me, I started to improve and looked almost normal again.

After encountering difficulties with her face, Glanville sought advice from Dr. Terry Dubrow, a well-known plastic surgeon on Botched. According to People, after examining her neck and facial biopsies, Dr. Dubrow has concluded that cancer is not present in Glanville’s case. However, the full results of his assessment are still pending, which may take up to six weeks for completion.
