Billy Joel postpones concert due to surgery
Through an update shared on his Instagram, Billy Joel announced that he needs to reschedule up to four months of his upcoming performances due to a recent operation. The post continued, explaining that this tour delay is necessary for him to recuperate from surgery and undergo recommended physical therapy under medical guidance.
In response to persistent queries from his devoted fans about his whereabouts, Billy Joel himself provided a personal update in his recent post. “Although I’m sorry for any inconvenience caused by rescheduling shows, my health is paramount. I eagerly anticipate returning to the stage and once again experiencing the thrill of live music with our fantastic audience. Thank you for your patience,” he expressed.
It was additionally mentioned that Joel is expected to fully recover in a short period and will kick off his tour once again on July 5, 2025, at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Those who bought tickets for the concerts that were postponed can attend the shows on their new dates.
