It‘s no surprise anymore, but Behaviour has officially confirmed that Ken Kaneki will join Dead By Daylight as the character known as The Ghoul. They’ve unveiled his abilities, and PC players can test him out in the Public Test Build (PTB) right now. Although the PTB is only available on Steam, the Tokyo Ghoul collaboration will be fully launched soon. It seems that leaks about Dead By Daylight (DBD) hint at some “unique” features for Ken Kaneki when they become available.
Dead By Daylight leaks reveal unique additions for Ken Kaneki Legendary outfit
In the Discord server of DBDLeaks, a trusted source known as Wazzup has disclosed exclusive details about the Ken Kaneki Legendary outfit in Dead by Daylight’s upcoming chapter 35 with Tokyo Ghoul. This includes unique voice lines and additional features.
Below are the unique voice lines for the legendary attire:
Selected in lobby:
- “Where is this?”
- “I hate being interrupted when I’m eating.”
- “What happened?”
- “To live is to devour others.”
- “What a savory aroma.”
- “There’s something I like even more than reading. Know what it is?”
- “Mm, looks tasty.”
- “There’s nothing that beats flavor when eating.”
Mori animation:
- “You look nice and soft and easy to eat.”
As a gamer, I’m super excited about the Legendary outfit I just got. Not only does it come with some exclusive voice lines, but it also has a special move – a unique lunge attack success animation! Now, Wazzup mentioned that this animation is used as one of the cooldown animations for lunge attacks in the Public Test Build (PTB). However, he thinks it might be a bug because this specific animation, labeled as 008, happens to be the ID for the Legendary outfit. So, fingers crossed it’s not a glitch and I can show off my cool new move!
You can see the video of the animation by clicking here.
The planned launch date for the character Ken Kaneki in Dead By Daylight has been pushed back from March to April 2nd. Originally, the Tokyo Ghoul killer was set to debut across all platforms, but due to some necessary adjustments, BeHaviour decided to delay its release so they could focus on additional updates first.
