It’s shocking to report that the spouse of Aaron Goodwin from Ghost Adventures was taken into custody, facing accusations of attempting to employ someone for the purpose of taking his life following allegations that she sought a hitman.
What happened between Aaron Goodwin and his wife?
As reported by TMZ, Victoria Goodwin was charged with attempting to hire someone for murder and conspiring to commit murder last week. The report indicates that Goodwin was sending messages to an inmate at a Florida prison discussing the possibility of ending her marriage with Aaron. Specifically, she asked if it made her a bad person for choosing to eliminate his existence rather than divorce.
Victoria is currently being held on $100,000 bail and is still believed to be in police custody.
Additionally, the report mentioned that Goodwin shared details regarding Aaron’s whereabouts and numerous production details during his time in California filming Ghost Adventures episodes last October.
According to authorities, she had saved over $11,000 as part of the supposed plan and, in text messages to the prisoner, Victoria inquired about the scheme, expressing concern: “He’s currently asleep in the hotel room… Could you please provide an update? Was it completed?
As reported by TMZ, the police became aware of the plot following a discovery made by prison officials: an inmate’s phone within the confines of the correctional facility. The circumstances surrounding the October incident remain vague at this point. In her conversation with authorities, Victoria claimed she never intended for her husband to be harmed. Instead, she mentioned that her thoughts were merely focused on being without him. Furthermore, she stated that she could not remember sending those particular texts and that the money in question was meant for other purposes.
In 2022, Aaron and Victoria tied the knot at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion. In an interview with TMZ, Goodwin expressed his shock, stating he felt content in their marriage and was taken aback by the unexpected turn of events, leaving him feeling blindsided and heartbroken.
