Last year, I found myself moved to tears for an astonishing four hours straight after catching a glimpse of “Avatar: Fire and Ash” – a revelation shared by my wife, Suzy Amis Cameron, as James Cameron recently confided. The emotional impact was simply unparalleled!

In an interview with Empire Magazine, James Cameron revealed that his wife watched the entire project on December 22nd, and she cried continuously for four hours afterwards.

He added that Suzy Cameron was so emotionally distraught that he couldn’t gather any practical suggestions from her. “She would try to compose herself to share detailed responses, but then she’d start crying again,” Cameron explained, before adding, “I had to leave because it was late. We can discuss it later.

Despite this, the three-time Academy Award winner expressed full confidence in his partner’s judgment regarding Avatar: Fire and Ash, stating, “She has a keen eye for predicting box office success. She accurately forecasted Titanic, Avatar, and Avatar 2. Therefore, I have no doubts about her instincts on this one.”

As I type this, specifics about the Avatar: Fire and Ash storyline are still a secret. Many of the main actors from past versions, including Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, Sigourney Weaver, Joel David Moore, and others, will reappear in their roles. Additionally, David Thewlis and Oona Chaplin have been added to the cast as new characters. The film is scheduled for release in theaters on December 19, 2025.
