This film will feature Brandon Kirk (Scalper, Pig Killer) as the main character, who previously portrayed the serial killer in Netflix’s Mindhunter series. For his exceptional performance, Kirk was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.
The official summary tells the real-life tale of Edward Kemper, a clever yet brutal serial killer. His upbringing marred by abuse gave rise to his twisted fascination with violence, dismemberment, and vengeance directed toward the woman who inflicted the deepest wounds upon him – his mother. Despite his charming appearance, he hid his dark desires well.

When is the Ed Kemper release date?
On April 4, 2025, Ed Kemper’s movie will premiere in selected cinemas. After that, it will be made available for video-on-demand viewing starting from April 8, 2025. This film features an impressive cast including Lew Temple (known for The Walking Dead), Cassandra Gava (Conan the Barbarian), Robert Miano (Fast & Furious), Brinke Stevens (House on Haunted Hill), Susan Priver (Night Caller), and several other talented actors.
This movie is helmed by Chad Ferrin, who collaborated on the script with Stephen Johnston. Michael Conroy, Ferrin, Johnston, Silawn Lewis, Michael Musical, and Jeff Olan are the producers, while Jeffret Decker, Jeremy Irons, and Susan Priver act as executive producers. The creative team includes cinematographer Jeff Billings, editor Jahad Ferif, and musical contributors Richard Band and Matthew Hightshoe.
