Seven years ago today, I remember copping the iconic Air Jordan 3 “Seoul” kicks. These hard-to-find sneakers were released as a tribute to Seoul’s 30th anniversary of hosting the Summer Olympics in 1988. Today, they’re fetching a pretty penny on resale sites!

In 2020, Jordan Brand revisited this classic design for a limited run of women’s sizes. Now, it looks like they’re bringing back the “Seoul” vibe with a fresh new “Seoul 2.0” colorway dropping later this year. Can’t wait to see what they come up with!

For the first time, the “Seoul 2.0” version of the Air Jordan 3 presents an aged feel with a yellowed white sole and a gray outsole. The traditional black-on-gray elephant print mudguard and heel counter have been replaced by two shades of gray. The Nike Air branding on the heel is back in black, while the collar’s red and blue texture has been slightly altered. Although we don’t yet have a full view of the sneaker, it appears that it may still include Hangeul detailing at the tongue’s interior tags, and it definitely includes the South Korean flag on at least one shoe’s tongue.

As of now, Jordan Brand hasn’t disclosed any specific release details about the “Seoul 2.0” color scheme for the Air Jordan 3. Keep an eye out for news, including high-quality images of the shoes, as we anticipate they will become available on Nike SNKRS and select retailers on May 15, with a starting price of $200 USD.
