The glitch also restricted users from loading X posts via the application, instead redirecting them to an error page with messages such as “Something went wrong” or “Try reloading.” According to Daily Record, most issues were experienced with the social media application, with only some complaining of facing problems with the website. Meanwhile, a few users also ran into trouble with the server connection.
As a gamer, I’ve been hit by an unexpected worldwide outage today. From what I’ve gathered, several regions have reported disruptions, and about 10,000 users, as per Downdetector, have registered complaints about the service being down. Unfortunately, there’s been no clear communication yet from Elon Musk or any official representative from X regarding the sudden shutdown of our favorite social media platform earlier today.
Back in October 2022, Elon Musk gained ownership of Twitter, previously known as X, in a deal that drew widespread attention. Since then, this influential entrepreneur has not only given the company a new identity but also implemented significant changes, particularly concerning the content management on the site.
